Hi Andy, I´ve got this answer : Thank you for contacting Freefly and MoVI tech support. Most likely you will need to update you Mac OS, or in some cases you may need to disable the function to allow third party installers on the Mac. Please see example link. http://rampagedev.wordpress.com/os-...-not-downloaded-from-the-mac-app-store-fix-2/ Please let me know if this helps or if you have any other questions. Best regards, Chris Harrison Freefly/MoVI Technical Support
I think Chris' link to Wordpress is for a different error as he suggests. I'd make a backup of your Mac OS system using something like Carbon Copy Clone, writing the backup to an external USB disk, then upgrade to Mavericks. I've successfully upgraded on several machines that were running 10.6.8 to Mavericks without any problems. I had to hold on 10.6.8 because I use Final Cut Pro 7 and the 10.7 and 10.8 OS X's seemed to cause problems with FCP7. Anyway, the Mavericks upgrade takes a while, but seems to work OK. Andy.
I updated the Configurator and the Firmware. I set the Autotune Percentage to 50% on the Nexus. But I am not getting any response for the Movi. How do you "enable" as they say on the facebook video for this procedure. Not sure how to turn on the Autotune. Am I missing something here?
To actually run the Autotune procedure, select "System" from the upper right, and select "Autotune" and then "Start" on the following prompt. The process will take about two minutes. You will see the MoVI and the progress bar move while it is calibrating. The window will disappear when it is complete and you'll be set to go!
Hi Andy, thanks for your help. I've done it with the android tablet, cause I have the same problem with FC7 and upgrading my mac. The android thing worked fine. Best - Markus
