I'd like to know the nitty gritty differences between the two versions, other than just what the brochure says. I'd hate to buy one, wishing I had bought the other. Im going to be using it both for flight and handheld. I watched the tutorials and noticed the very nice flip-clasp system used for releasing and tightening adjustment points on the M10, but on the photos of the MR version it looks like hex bolts are used instead. This is the kind of thing that makes a difference in ease of use to me. So I'm not sure if those are older prototype photos of the MR, or are they really just using the hex bolts to save weight for the MR version? Same with the roll tube, being an actual tube on the brochure photos vs a frame type construction on Tabbs instructional videos.
Bryan the M10 and MR are the same. Those are old photos. MR comes with the landing gear legs and attachments and the handheld cross bar. MR needs to have the Remote operator TX/Recv added. M10 comes with a TX/Recv. for the remote operator, handle bar but not the MR gear. If you start with the M10 there is or will be a kit for the conversion to an MR.
The gear are standard but the extensions on the bottom of the legs are a new design. Old legs by themselves won't give you any ground clearance.
Thanks Tabb. Realized that this week when I was putting gear temporarily on another machine. Mix of old and new didn't work so well.
