If you have a recently purchased Graupner Receiver, or upgraded your Rx firmware, the signal loss Failsafe does NOT function without changes to your Tx menu:
    Mikrokopter responds (5-18-2014):
Graupner did change the FailSafe function in the receivers. If you use the latest Software on your receiver you have to go into the Menue "Setting & Data view".
There go to the window "RX Fail Safe Vx.xx" and change the "MODE" of channel 1 to "OFF". Now the copter will again receive the lost signal.

Ouch. That's a tad expensive for the nugget of information, isn't it? :(

Yea, I as fooling around all afternoon, 4 hrs, with MKTools hooked up and switching between the 3 Graupner Rx's I had. One worked with Failsafe and the other two (new ones) didn't). I was pulling the CS toward me, to unplug and change the Rx once again, and suddenly lost connection to the heli. I looked down only to see the side of the MK USB card sitting on top my Power Distribution board. After 2 1/2 years I thought I'd made every mistake possible. I now have tape on the side pins of the MK USB board.

I recall seeing your posting on that. An unfortunate and expensive lesson in exposed electronics. Sigh.

    Andy.
