Paul you don't turn it off and on. It will turn on when it has a lock on the GPS sats. If you are indoors that may take awhile and sometimes it will never lock. The unit will still operate.
Paul Like Gary mentions you can operate the copter without a lock but you need to set it up in MK tools to ignore GPS lock or it won't allow you to start the motors without a lock. I can never get a GPS lock in doors where I keep my copter in the basement but I get it as soon as I go outside. IF you still can't get a lock you can click on the GPS tab and see the strength of your satallites.
Hi guys, I'm having the same problem with my GPS not locking I've gone outside in an open area and still nothing, powered on/off rebooted the system and restored to factory settings but still no GPS lock? Any suggestions or thoughts on this matter? Grant
