For the past week or so, a hard working herd of goats and sheep have been our neighbors here in Half Moon Bay. They were brought in to clear some of the non-native plants in the open space near the ocean. Today I flew my GH3 on my Cinestar 8 to get some aerial stills. Probably should have used the 5D Mark III and 17-40 for even wider and higher-res shots, but these are pretty good. Here's one photo, and the rest are on my Facebook Page, so hit me up there (and a few more 'Like's would be nice too!). ;)

This photo is interesting in that from my position (out of camera at the bottom), I couldn't see the line of horseback riders down on the beach (a 25' cliff separates the bluff from the beach). This photo was from about 125m AGL.

I was flying with the SmartOSD, Zeiss Cinemizers, and Iftron TX/RX, and conditions were ideal (65°F, and just a 5-8mph breeze). AH and PH (with upgraded ACC) worked flawlessly and allowed me to nicely frame these photos. The GH3 was using its built-in "Time Lapse" feature with it set to fire every 4 seconds. I did two flights, each of about 10 minutes in duration, and they couldn't have been any better.

    Here's several more photos. Enjoy!
