Anyone else notice this on their setups? I am building my copter from a recent shoot (had to fly with it so had to tear it down). I decided to do a deep check on everything (checking the caps on the BLs, all wire connections, ect). and thats when I found this. I am going to de-solder the connection and re-solder it. Just curious if this is normal or if I possible have bigger issues looming? Thanks.

Do you have the GPX files from the most recent flight or two, Josh. Curious to see what the current draws are like...

I'll post them. I have looked back over a bunch of my GPX files and see average amps of around 60-90 depending on tor type of flying I do.

60-90 Amps doesn't seem that terribly out of wack, does it? As you say, re-making those solder joints is certainly wise. I check my C8 and don't see any discoloration like that.

Is that 12 gauge? I would replace with 10 or 8. I think my thunder powers are 10.

Hey Josh, double check your solder joints to the PDB. They look a liitle "dry" and/or cold. You want a nice, shiny joint without the strands of the cable to be visible.

    Thanks Seattle,
I double checked them and they are nice and shiny. Do you have a picture of yours soldered? I can't seem to get it soldered without the wires showing. It always overflows to the other side? I personally am not a fan of how this is setup...

Josh, if they are nice and shiny then you're good to go. It's hard to judge that stuff via pictures sometimes.
