I just upgraded my stabilizer from the Hoverfly Gimbal to the Radian 3-axis. The HFG came out before the Radian so I decided to spend time trying to tune it and get it to work, but I believe three individual boards can be much more accurate than one. So now I've pretty much owned them all...Piclok, Skyline, Hoverfly Gimbal, Radian... Anyways. I see a lot of discussion about the general gain ranges for DLSR-type cameras. Does anyone have experience with the Epic and Radian? From what I gather, it seems like the heaver the payload, the lower the gains. True? If the weather clears up this weekend, the plan is to start flight tests to tune the Radians.
