Has anyone flown a reasonable payload.. (IE: RED with a small lens) at an altitude above 10,000'
We are looking to get some shots at an area thats around 10,500' and doing flights about 200ft above that.

Has anyone done this, is there any info on reduced payload capacity at "X" elevations and air densities. .

    thanks

Does the information on page 107 of the ALTA 8 and ALTA 6 Manuals help?

I flew at 10,000ft with the Alta 8 with an Alexa mini and K35 lens. It flew ok but definitely felt a bit underpowered and according to the Alta 8 manual we definitely were overweight. It was a bit less stable in wind and a bit sluggish but worked fine for a short shoot. I don't think you'd want to try it with the Alta 6 though!
