What I was trying to achieve: MoVI Operator (physically holding) with majestic pan and tilt control. Second Mimic Op with PS4 controller Rolling the camera with L and R buttons. Is this possible? Am I going mad?, I'm sure I have done it before, but it may have been with the MoVI controller and not the PS4. As I couldn't get it to work yesterday on set.
I've never seen run\stop capability with the PS4 Gamepad, but if it's a RED camera, you can do it with Mimic itself. In the latest v1.4 Firmware, there is a 'Camera Type Selection' under Dual Op, but I'm not sure what it enables. I thought it might enable R/S for other cameras via Mimic, but I don't have cables for any of that, so can't test it. Previously, you could only run\stop a RED via RCP on Mimic, but Movi Controller could R/S other cameras.
