Has anyone ever used their movi m10 to hook up with the DJI s1000 instead of the cinestar 8? Curious if the s1000 is capable of carrying that kind of load like the cinestar 8 can and if it is vibration free.
I would never mount a Movi on a S1000. I have one with a Zenmuse and I use it like that. My Cinestar 8HL it holds the Movi and flies a RED fully rigged for more than 11 minutes. DJI S100 is too risky to fly a Movi IMHO.
I know some guys successfully using M5 on S1000. Since M10 is lighter than M5, it's very doable; it just depends on the camera payload. If you're using a camera like GH4, BMPCC, you are on the safe side and you will not exceed the AUW limit of S1000. (~10kg) 4.4kg (S1000) 1.8 kg M10 1 kg GH4+lens+some accesories Total 7.2 kg, without lipo. You can put a 10A or 16A easily to that rig.
