What props are you guys using?
I am running carbon 14x4,7....I've read they are too big...and smaller props give better results....

Peter, are u flying CInestar 8 with DJI Wkm?
Have you tried different prop sizes and brands?

I am running some "low quality" carbon 14x4,7 (no brand)..checked today and some has about 7mm tracking differences.
Toooooo flexible, much more than APCs. Who knows how bad their shapes are!!!!!

Carbon Props are supposed to be stiff like wood's...aren't they?

Marc noticed some strange "pumping" noise from the motors. Could be the propellers "flexing".

Played with some gains today and stayed around 175 for Pitch and roll.
Gains higher than 200 and I can feel it oscillate. Lower than 140 and it is too lazy.
I've got my bird's stability almost 90% set.

Please let me know how do you feel about my props.

    Sylvio

    Hi Kjetil,

I will buy some new propellers in my upcoming trip to France. 13" props are in the list.

    Best,

I am now using the 14x4,7 APC with the same copter and gimbal but will try my new 13x6,5 any day now.
Have you got any MK settings that work well.

Actually what I meant was a complete flight without just the "highlights" per say.

Uhhm that will be a bit harder, we are only allowed to relise more images after they get their movies on the air as you could see in the credits that wasn't even edited by us, it was red bull courtesy for us.I think you understand , but I can assure you. It was 90% if not more usable of course some movements were re done, but only to get that better frame. Some others there were no second chance as the wind was picking up and we were with 30km/h on start. I sailed on those for almost 3 years that helped a lot....

Fair enough... I work on a lot of stuff I can't show, so I understand release issues.

Simonk , and 12x3.6 props slow fly, and is Flying perfect in Wind
    And no Wind .
Before i had turnigy plush, THE simonk really make a diference
    I have a cinestar 6
I would like to have a 70 amp simonk, after carrying 5d for 4 minutes
    The esc are very hot

I am getting to a very good point...thanks to Bracelet, Delaunay, Andy and many others....
I am running 3328 motors, Multistar 40 Escs and Zippy 5s 8000mah. 14x4,7 are ok but I think
the Xoar Wood 13x5 are better. 5 minutes flight, draining 4500 Mah w/ 3 Axis Gimbal and Canon 7D.
Also, Kjetil suggested Xoar Carbon 13x6,5, wich will be my next try!!!
