Hi alta users , I have been testing my alta in NZ for the past 10 days , I love it , its awesome . But I just thought I should share this . When the alta is in the case , the GPS module rests on the bottom battery cage and mine is damaged from the pressure being put onto the small aerial that protudes from the base of the unit .
I am not sure how vital this little wire is , but I will look into replacing it and not carry the cage in the case any more . Please check your module aerials in case they are being damaged .
    Happy flying , Josh IMG_6166.JPG

    Hi Joshua,

This is the WIFI antenna for connecting to the ALTA from the APP. There is a service bulletin coming out soon to address this issue.

The worst scenario would be if the antenna shorted to the case. It does not look like yours has cut all the way through.

Sorry for the inconvenience, we will get the service bulletin out ASAP.
