I have been trying different exposure settings for CX760 to see the different results and was curious what others are using as their "go-to" settings. Assume a sunny day 9-10a or 3-4p and Image Quality/Size: HD Quality / 60p.

Camera/Mic: I have tried Auto everything was not happy with the pan blur. I then tried Auto everything except Shutter Speed > Manual (125 and 180). Moderately better results but not happy with the exposure.

    1. Has anyone tried other combinations and found good results?
    2. Has anyone tried x.v.Color? What are your results?

Colin: So far I've just let the CX760 pick it's own exposure, but, if it ever stops raining in Oregon again, I was planning to set the exposure manually using a shutter speed of about 1/30th (just to soften the motion) and pointing the camera at a neutral grey card on the ground.

I think I might try experimenting with the white balance too, although, again, the CX760 seems to do a reasonable job when left to do it's own thing.

    Andy.
