CS8 Swinging 15inch Props?

    Yes I have. It does say it will lift...but everytime I increase size of props i.e. from 14 to 15 it radically lowers the flight time and the throttle to hover passes from 59% to 81...making it unusable. Also 6S worsens the result. DonĀ“t know which variables to change...

    hey guys i have an cs8 total wieght 8 kg and 15 inches with 500 mm
    i hade it for 3 months but i couldnt find its gains im running wkm latest version
    pls can any one help?also my motors are mt3520 kv 400

    I assume you MR wobbles a lot in flight especially when there is a breeze.
    If you have done all you can with basic and attitude gains then the problem is with the available motor torque.
    In other word the motors cannot respond quickly enough, i.e., change speed fast enough, to FC output control.
    Your three options are:
    reduce prop dia and/or pitch
    reduce MR AUW
    increase battery voltage level, i.e., move up from 5S to 6S etc.
    The available torque electrically speaking is the available watts or P = V * I.
    An increase in volts will give you more torque and faster change in speed when required.
    eCalc for Multirotors does not analyse this situation.
