Hello everyone. We got a CS 8 in x8 configuration with MK 2.5 MK double quad 3.5 Kde 4012 motors 17" props. With 16000mAh battery and a 2kg camera dummy It flies nicely in no/ low wind, no problems at all. But if the wind comes up and especially if we up the dummy weight to about 4 or 4.5kg it has short occasional twitches. I don't think it's the normal PID settings as the where all flown to tune them (poti on remote) and we have since re tuned them to mo avail. It's also not a swinging or vibrating, but more occasional twitches, especially when the copter has to compensate to a strong gust or or yeah, heavy weight. It feels a bit like the it comes from regulating the motors. Like the active brake is slowing a prop quite strongly and that transfers some torc into the copter? Not sure about that. But I have done some copters in my time and never seen anything like that. Any ideas? I am at my wits end and really don't know. Any help will be appreciated..
Patrick from KDE told me to use 16" props for the 4012 motors, not 17". I use 16" on my 4012 powered X8. They work great. As for the twitches, are these when flying manual or with AH and/or PH? What firmware are you running on the BLs? Do you have a GPX file?
