Hello! I am trying to build a 3 axis brushless gimbal. I have already a 2 axis AlexMos controller. I saw the option for Yaw axis will be available from July. What do you recommend? 2 Alexmos controller boards or 1 Alexmos controller board with expansion for the third axis? The motors are 5206 and it's for a Canon 5DmkIII. Thanks everybody!
so you dont think the alemox v3 board with 3 axis wil not work? http://www.armbgc.com/armbgc-v3-0-alexmos-controller-3-axis/
I didn't say it wont work but like everything else that comes out at first you have to do alot of work to get it right providing there are no bugs. The one in the picture is the 3axis board only plus you need the 2 axis controller, So, the controller is $180 and the board is $80 which it makes $259,00 Is not all in one. So, you might as well wait for the Alexmos expansion 3axis board Bill
hello i have also order on off this and i think you get all you need to setup all 3 axis here?do i wrong? will it bee two sensor when you have all 3axis or just one with all 3 axis buildtin
ok i also think that two alexmos is better how does you do that with two board and two sensor do you connect the power cables from both the board togheter and how do you mount the sensor to pan axis?
i am testing de 4114 motors 22x24/150. i can't get the motors to work ok no power at al. i use 4s lipo do i need to goto 5 or 6s. need some help .
Michel welcome to the forum. Would you be kind enough to change your user name to your real first name and last name, please? The reasons for this (and how to do do it) are explained here: http://forum.freeflysystems.com/index.php?threads/real-names.497/.
it shoud have power with 4s lipo, but i dont now that motor, but i use 5s on 5208 motors and they have plenty off power have you balanced your gimble perfect?
Is this a different test then the post in the other thread ? http://forum.freeflysystems.com/ind...r-3-axis-brushless-mod.1665/page-2#post-21417
Looking very promising. Have you recorded any on board video? I really hope running dual motors is successful!
