My ship and I are headed on a road trip, so I broke it down for the first time. In real time this took about 20 minutes. Shot with my Canon 5D Mark III with 16-35/2.8L lens.
Good video. I'm trying to sort this whole transport thing. I'm taking a little different approach. I live in Italy and there's a manufacturer over here called" Explorecase" that builds military grade cases. Very similar to Pelican but half the price. They make a gun case with handle and wheels. It's about 40L, 24W, 18D. My thought is to remove 2 arms on each side and lay them side by side. I have enough wire where I think I can slide them out and not have to undo the leads. Detach the gimbal and pop into another case. If this pans out I think I cut the set-up time down to less than 10.
