For the video I shoot, I need to be able to drive around in an SUV and basically "run'n'gun" with the MōVI with the camera mounted, the Pelican 370 works pretty well. http://www.thepelicanstore.com/Pelican-0370-Cube-Case-1029.aspx I can pull the MōVI out, rest one handle on the tailgate, hold the other handle, then power up the camera and then the MōVI and hold still until the MōVI initializes. Then I'm good to go. Andy.
Norbert, I forgot to mention that there are two layers of harder foam at the bottom of the case, I took one out so that the whole assembly sits lower in the case, that way I can install a Pelican 0379 lid organizer: http://www.amazon.com/Pelican-Organizer-0370-Case-Grey/dp/B000B5MHFK (Curiously, this is not something I can find on the Pelican web site.) I wouldn't want to ship a MōVI like this, but for transport in my own vehicle it's fine. Andy.
Andy, compared to the US here in Germany, the Pelican cases are very expensive, and the cars are a little bit smaller. So i took the Peli 0350. It is the smaller 20" version but fits exactly! (without the layer at bottom and any lid organizer) Norbert PS: The cars are smaller here but we are allowed to drive as fast as we want... It's a good compensation to the more expensive Pelicases!
