So far I've been flying with a GoPro Hero2 connected to my HDMI converter. It's been working flawlessly. Today I finally mounted and balanced the Canon 60D onto my 360 gimbal. Once connected to the HDMI converter, I get no image on the monitor, but instead I get bars and it says IN No Signal/ OUT NTSC in the top left corner. I tried connecting directly the camera to a monitor (actually to the Cinemizer goggles) and I can see the image just fine. So it's not the camera. And it's not the cable. And I know it's not the HDMI converter, since it works just fine with the GoPro. Any help highly appreciated.
Indeed Scott, live view shooting was enabled. And it works fine. I even connected the camera straight to my goggles using the same exact cable (mini-HDMI to mini-HDMI) and was able to see the feed.
Quick update: Sent in the HDMI converter to QC. They were able to replicate the issue. They said they've never seen anything like it. They sent me a replacement that should be arriving today, and they'll let me know if they figure out what the issue is.
