Hello! Is it possible to set the pan (in majestic mode) to turn at a constant rate? Example: initial position facing forward (90 degrees), I very quickly move bar to a 180 degree position... I want the pan to "respond" quickly in the sense it realizes "hey, we're moving now" but the rate it moves from 90 to 180 does NOT mimic that speed, but rather is a constant (slow) rate.

The goal is to have sort of a dolly movement by my body carrying it while it does a slow tripod-like pan. Think Movi-Lapse but in majestic mode on the fly. The context of the setting I'm using it in (unfortunately) does not allow time to keep configuring an actual Movi lapse/defined movement.

Thoughts? This has me stumped. Thanks all!

Hi Matt, I think changing Remote Rate Scale to a really low number will do it, but maybe I'm misunderstanding what you're trying to do. For Hyperlapses, they suggest setting it to 1 to 5 degrees/second.

It sounds like maybe you're trying to do a Hyperlapse? Here's how to do Hyperlapses (scroll down):

I could be misinterpreting what you're asking, though.
