the bike rack adapter plus standard c-stand mounting tools and a sandbag makes a great, height adjustable, levelable home base, and doubles as a static tripod tool, or static with remote pan tilt etc. great forum idea. plus i use a soft but rigid soft case with wheels in a vertical build, the freefly inserts fully rigged and upright. from pull-out to shooting is no time flat after initializing unit. have been testing with ax100, g10, canon 5d2 and 3. love having a face tracking focus assist built in for basic work, and still having large sensor advantages with the ax100. still experimenting. see pic of vertical case in next post.
