    Nick,

We will release it with the first firmware update coming soon (which will fix the PWM problem).

    John,
Will use beta testers be able to use the new firmware? I spoke with Tabb about it and the Radians are in a different mounting position now then they were with us beta testers. Will our Radians still work? Thanks!

    Josh,

Yes, everything will work (including Spektrum and PPM which I think were not in the beta software) - but you will have to remount the Radians to match the new orientations.

Ok. Just glue them to those locations?

If you wish ;). I'm sticking mine with gyro foam then holding them down with tie-wraps : you don't want them wobbling in flight.

Thanks for getting back to me John. I already ripped my radians off. Ooops, guess that'll teach me not to act before thinking.

To amplify what John said, you really, really don't want them coming off in flight...I can tell you first hand that a free-flapping tilt sensor is like a loose cannon on a tall ship's deck -- or, a loose Canon 5D Mk III on a Cinestar 3-Axis gimbal!

    Hi,

can I update the units from beta firmware to the 1.02 version ? Can I use the MKUSB for that ? I tried but the radian will not be recognized by the bootloader software, although I can run the config software and connect to the radian (same com port).

    Regards
    John

EDIT: Ok, my fault, forgot to short-cut pins 5 and 6 to enter bootloader-mode. It is updating now :)
