You read that right. Blackjack firmware for Mōvi Pro, Mōvi XL and Mōvi Carbon is no longer a beta release and is available from the normal app stores!

    Now what?
    • If you already had Blackjack (2.0.x) installed on your Mōvi/MIMIC:
      • You can delete the beta app from your phone.
      • Head to the App Store or Google Play and update or download the Mōvi Pro app. You can search for Freefly or Mōvi Pro, or you'll find links to the apps on the Mōvi Pro Support page on our website, in the software section.
      • That's it. You'll be able to connect to your Mōvi or MIMIC and configure it with the newest app from the app store, without needing to do any firmware updates.
    • If you didn't have Blackjack installed on your Mōvi/MIMIC:
      • Head to the App Store or Google Play and update or download the Mōvi Pro app. You can search for Freefly or Mōvi Pro, or you'll find links to the apps on the Mōvi Pro Support page on our website, in the software section.
      • When you connect to your Mōvi, you'll see an indicator in the app that an update is available.
      • Make sure you have a microSD card installed in your Mōvi (or MIMIC), and your batteries are charged to at least 50%, then start the update. It takes 5-7 minutes.
      • When the update is complete, your Mōvi will be ready to go! If you have other Freefly equipment you use with your Mōvi, make sure it's up to date as well (MIMIC, Mōvi Controller).
      • As always, be sure to explore the new Blackjack features in the Mōvi Wiki and let us know if you have any questions (support@freeflysystems.com) before you take your gear out on a job!
