Steve nice. Not sure you were panning. Just a bit of the roll shake. But the average 'Jane' wouldn't notice. And you're right not many days with that mirror finish water.
Thanks, Joe. The "descending roll shakes" is a problem that's inherent in these copters, and has nothing to do with the gimbal and/or camera. When the copter descends through its own propwash, it ends up bouncing a lot. There has been much conversation here about this phenomenon. I have been trying to descend at more of an angle (rather than straight down in a hover) and that improves things dramatically. But there seems to be a sweet spot with the Cinestars where you're moving just fast enough to allow the props to "bite" in clean air. And yes, if this was commercial footage, I would have cut or stabilized a couple of these, but I left them in, partly to document that it was truly straight out of the camera.
Hi Jeff: Magic! Please tell me you were dong that visually and not FPV flying backwards! I know I would have been in the trees! Andy.
flying around the St Gallus Kapelle and inside the famous Stiftsbibliothek St. Gallen (Unesco world heritage) Switzerland for german TV. filmed in august 2012 with Cinestar 8 with FS100 and Picloc
Nice work Rolf. Did you have any worries about the indoor flying? Looks like there are a lot of priceless items in the indoor scene. Also did you have to post-stabilize the footage? Andy.
It's better not to think about all that priceless stuff around just trust your skills and do it after planning the flight well as you can see (lens flares) we didn't post stabilize to much. we lost between 1 and 3 percent of the image. usually i stabilize the material only to get the operator movements a bit smoother.
Very nice Steve, was there to the south of you last year drove from Monterey to San Diego via 1 and it is some of the most beautiful coast line there is. Will be out there again this October.

Sodium sulfate capacity is currently about 140,000 tons per year.\ In response to strong demand for viscose fibers in Asia and wolrdwide, the Lenzing Group has decided to further increase production capacities at PT. South Pacific Viscose. Construction of the fifth production line entailing investments exceeding USD 130 million is currently underway. The addition of this new "jumbo line" will increase SPV's total annual capacity to 310,000 tons of viscose fiber. Apart from the production of fiber and sodium sulfate, SPV also generates its own power and a range of raw materials including carbon disulfide and sulphuric acid. Aerials : SukaTerbang.
