Trying to shoot some wildlife stuff and need to remote trigger, anyone make a remote switch yet? Seems pretty straight forward from their diagram, but look like you need to power the port with 3.5~5v and send a ground signal to the #6pin. Thinking about using a 18650, but I wonder if you could rip 5v off the Usb-C port? Here is the spec G
Hi George. I made one a few months back using the same spec sheet you linked to. The result was rough but it got the job done. I was filming with 200 - 300mm telephoto lens and could not start/stop recording using the onboard trigger. It's not tough if you're patient and take your time. Let me know if you're still trying to build one.
