Has anyone put the 3-axis gimbal on a single rotor heli?

Is the mount strong enough to withstand an underslung configuration on a single rotor heli using the stock multi-rotor landing gear?

Sure, works fine. I know of a few people flying that configuration. Henning and Weylin (local guy) http://www.facebook.com/ShiftedCinema?fref=ts

It might be a bit 'tippy' on takeoff and landing...maybe a good idea to add a long tail fin in case it rocks back you won't hit the tail rotor on the ground...

The more important question is why are your still flying one of those vibration machines??? ;)

I got one of these... http://www.airstarintl.com/index.php/asi-industrial/industrial-sl-4-0-hp.html with helicommand profi with gps. Has been parked inside this year :(... Thinking about hanging on a FF 360 in the front. Why? Long flighttimes and can take alot payload. Just refuel and start up, onboard generator etc... and no vibration coz the engine in well balanced and rubber hung to the frame.
