It looked and sounded great although this was mostly hovering in PH, all components and cables were cool to the touch, battery quite warm though. This was with a 2.6kg (5.7lbs) payload and an AUW of 7.64kg (16.8lbs) which is less than I had expected but then I had planned on using 2 batteries which would take me up to 20lbs. My intention was to create headroom and I don't need more than 10 minutes per flight so I think this is a pretty good result, so happy with the TMotor prop/motor combo
After more demanding tests and some weightier payloads I've realised I cant avoid 2 batteries... have updated to 2 x 10 amp and seeing numbers much more like similar setups on the forum. On another note I am currently using a simple fpv setup and relying on the MX20 display for my telemetry but it's not ideal, is anyone here using MK OSD's? Also is anyone using a simple pitch gimbal on FPV cameras or just fixed position? After flying FPV on other setups I think I'm really missing this on my main rig but reluctant to add even more wiring...
Im running Smart OSD, its nice, you can configure it to show what you want, which is nice. I also have a simple pitch gimbal for the fpv camera, I like it a lot for when you need to hover over an object.
