Looks awesome brad! Any way you could post detailed pics or explain your wiring diagram for 2 alexmos boards? Do you need 2 IMUs? What size lipo did you use? Thanks

    Our attempt ;)

The idea is that this will replace the roll/tilt part of the CS3 mount, maybe later also a brushless motor on the pan with the standard belt gear.

Nice Mario, but I think you will have to move the IMU to sit beside the camera.
    Regards.

    Hi Janne,

There is already one mounted under the camera plate, the one you see is for the roll and later also the pan.

Where did you get the adaptor to mount the pulley to the motor?

One thing that makes me curios is how well does the dual motor setup work?
Better balance and more power or only more trouble ...?

    regards.

We played one hour with the BDD gimbal and it's looking promising already, but because of Kratos orders there will be no time in the next few days to look at it :(

No worries mate, we can wait for your testing of the beast.
Better to do it the proper way than the fast one ;-)

Quick test drive on 4S with unbalanced GH2 with 14-140 zoom lens and just some quick settings.
Lots of things to do but it looks promising :)

Ok that one we liked :)
The real test below a copter with the camera balanced, will be well worth waiting for Mario.

My first test with a small gimbal 4008 motors and Sony 730.

Trying to fly smooth for first minute, but after that I hit the right stick hard in every direction ;-)

Here is our little attempt at brushless (only 2 axis for this test, working on 3rd still).

Very impressive, especially considering the wind.
