Here's my take on a little trip. I was there for work but had some time to run around and shoot stuff with my Movi. I used Sandmarc wide and telephoto lenses and of course the counterbalance kit for the Movi. Shot solely on the iPhone X and edited in FCPX
Hi Rick, I got a kick out of this video. The music nicely supports the camera movement and slow motion. Clever use of shots of the piano player. How many frame rates did you use?
Thanks buddy. Whole thing was shot in 4k 60p but on a 24p timeline and the clips retimed to 40% which makes them smooth and lovely. Only gripe is the file naming that didn't allow me to see the clips in date order and screwed up my filing system- and the fact I can't lock exposure and focus separately. Big bug bear. Was tempted to use Filmic or Mavis but preferred to have the control on the MCR. I use 'freeze' a lot.
Thanks, helpful information. Unrelated, but are you aware of the changes to YouTube player size/aspect ratio? Maybe everyone knows except me: https://forum.freeflysystems.com/in...-approach-to-player-size-aspect-ratios.12774/
