    Hi again everyone,

My cinestar 8 was has been completed today:)
However, I am a bit worried about the all up weight of the craft.
    I am running 2x 6000mah 4s
The camera is a Sony CX730 on the 3 axis gimbal.
The weight comes out at 6.7KG, Does this sound right, from what I have been reading it seems heavy!!
Also can anyone tell me what the maximum all up weight of the Cinestar 8 is?

    Thanks for any help,

    Marty

what 6.4kg with 5d???? thats impossible i think..!
    With my 550d i am on7.5kg

Also there is no Maximum i have seen a video with a cinestar 6 hanging 33lbs if i remember right..!

So the max weight is for your props motors escs..! if you hover about 50-60% then you are great..!
Also the temp must be till 50-60C

Thanks for the info guys, with the weight at present I am getting flight times of 6 minutes, this is with the cells at 3.8 after the flight. I am thinking of running 3 or even 4 lipos to try and extend running time, I know that if you keep adding weight the benefits of adding more batteries diminishes. Plenty of testing to do yet!

    Thanks again for your responses,
    Marty

You could run your batteries a little lower if you want and still be safe. Just don't run them past 3.2v per cell.
