    Hi Everybody!

I am a Cameraman for documentaries, image films and television series from Germany.

I think about to buy a Movi Pro. It would be nice to have a Set with Wireless Follow Focus
(DJI Pro), wireless Video Transmission (Paralinx ACE) and a lightweight Camera.

In case of the Camera I was thinking about the Sony A7S (2000 Euro) the FS5 (5000 Euro)
    or the FS7 (7000 Euro).

The AS7 is fantastic at night, but not as good as the FS7/FS5 at daylight.

The advantage of the FS7 would be that I could use the camera "stand alone"
as documentary camera (even in 4 K) with a good codec.
But the Camera weights 2 kg.

The FS5 has only 800 g, but without external recording its only good for HD (4:2:2),
shouting in 4 K (4:2:0) it was in some forums not recommended.

I would like to use the MOVI without an Easyrig or the ExoSkeleton, so it would
be nice to have lightweight Setup. So my tendency goes to Sony FS5.

How are your experiences with the combination of Movi Pro and Sony FS5?

    Greetings
    Erik Paul

if u have clients that will pay for rentals, do that.

u can buy all the accessories u want and use with any camera. different jobs call for different cameras. And you should attempt to secure the nicest camera package your client is willing to fund in most cases (if good Return on Investment is available). While all those cameras are nice (i own an fs7 myself its great), they are not Reds or ARRIs.

If u shoot a ton of content for your own projects, or have lower-budget goals, then maybe a camera body is a good investment. if u have decent budget, rent the body. Maybe u could afford a little higher-end accessories.

Are you near a rental house? If not, I can recommend both fs7 and fs5. Obviously one of them fits on gimbals better, the other is just better (IMO).
