Im looking for a light weight solution to fit between the base plate and the A7s to give about a 5-8mm rise. I can make something up but equally happy to use a tidy pre existing solution. Any ideas?

Fat washer - nylon. It's what we do.

I use a SmallRig cage for my A6300. It raises the camera enough for the Movi plate to not rub the lenses.

Ian trying a fat washer in Steel / Zinc (Galvanized). It doesn't effect the GPS or Motor, right?

Other idea is to cut a Foam rubber sheet.
