    Hi guys,

I’m currently running 2 – 6S’ 5400 Hyperion Lipos. I’ve been using the recommended “80% rule” dropping the battery to about 3.7 volts per cell.
I’m curious as to how low are you guys running your lipos?

    Thanks!

Maxis never lower than 20% if I can help it. So about 14.4 volts so 3.6 volts is my trigger point in flight for landing.

    Hi Gary

    Thanks for the reply.

I guess I can set my first warning at 3.7 and my second and last warning at 3.6. Of course, I’ll be on my way to land by the time 3.6 hits.

    Am I understanding that correctly?

    Thank you once again!

Oh wait Gary, you are talking about 4S. I’m referring to 6S.

Cells are cells, regardless of how many there are per battery (at least as far as our 3S-6S LiPo batteries are concerned). So Gary's use of 14.4 is just 3.6*4, and in your case it'd be 3.6*6 (21.6V).
