Adam, try increasing your pan window value and see if that helps. Try 15 and go higher if you're still not getting the results you want.
Mine broke as well a while ago and FF sent me a new one.
Get a 3/8"-16 to 1/4"-20 reducer. Pretty cheap and easy.
Maybe someone from FF can chime in, but I would try it. It's only four screws. Hope it helps.
Still think it's 180 off. When it's in Dual Op mode, it locks in a heading so don't go by that. Take the screws off the pan motor and rotate it...
Sounds like the Pan Motor is spun around 180 degrees.
