    Hi there

I'm just powering up an Alta 6 for the first time (never flown) and have connected it to the app though am trying to arm the drone - however when I go to the radio page on the app and click the disarm option (or any option) I get the attached screen - any advice welcome. I've removed what I thought to be the jumper from behind one of the panels on the drone itself.

    Thank you.

PS - is there a dedicted forum for Alta 6?

    Hi Jason

Thanks for the response - that's the thing - I have removed the jumper but it's still saying that.

    Any ideas?

    thanks

    Hi Jason

It seems that having the jumper in or out gets the same message on the app.

I've attached a photo of where I remove/put back the configuration jumper (the one with orange cables) - is this the correct place?

Also, on the Monitor page of the app I often get LOS above the Radio - does this mean that the controller is not communicating with the Alta?

    thanks

    Adam

yeah that is the correct place remove that jumper cable and then make sure your connected to the app. Then go into the same config menu. move the sticks around on the controller you should be able to see them correspond to the app. if not you will have to change the controller setting to your set-up. Once you get that sorted Map the disarm switch to something on your controller. I like to keep mine on a spring loaded switch or the trainer switch.
If you can see the disarm switch moving on the app your good to go. Replace the jumper cable remove the props for safety and test.
You should be able to start the motors but not turn them off unless the disarm switch is on
