I can’t get time lapse to work. Echo either.

I’m using iPhone XS Max, the latest iOS, Movi app and firmware, have reset all settings, and after I set A and B and hit preview it moves as expected. But when I hit the record button (onscreen or on robot) recording begins but the phone never moves.

    What am I doing wrong?

I am not sure if I understand correctly, but you need to control the motion with the Mode button and the recording with the Record Button. Set A , B, time etc first. Then press: Record>Mode>....Return or Reset>Record to stop recording. Trim the ends during editing. If you are asking something else, disregard.

Thank you, Pavel, but that's what I'm doing. It is not working.

It's quite unclear from the instructions that you have to push BOTH the shutter trigger and the SET button to get this to work. Or at least it was to me. ‍

"you need to control the motion with the Mode button and the recording with the Record Button"... I am not a native English speaker. I thought it was clear.

Pavel, thank you for taking the time to respond.
The MODE button and SET button are different.
That's one of the things that confused me.
The tech support engineer who helped me said he had argued for that to not be the case, but he was overruled.
So I'm not the only one who has stumbled over this.

Now I am confused. I only used this definition by FF. It escapes me what the difference is. I use the "Mode" trigger to "set" the two end points. To me it is the same button, but whatever.

To me an employee shouldn't be sharing details of the internal discussions and that the results didn't go his way, with a customer, but I am old....

    Anyway, best of luck.
