I'm new to my Movi i-Phone gimbal and was wonder what others do about their stabilization settings?
Do you keep in on or turn it off? In the past I always turned it off when my camera is on a tripod I'm not sure if that works the same when using the Movi
I noticed if I use the Filmic Pro app there is a stabilization setting there as well.

    Thanks for any suggestions

Turn it off, according to the Filmic Pro manual. Unfortunately, iPhone has worse problem, since you can’t turn their OIS off. It tries to correct the same unwanted motion as the gimbal. That makes two servos with different response times racing one another, causing unstable behavior. The newest iPhones behave way better.
I have another problem with my iPhone XS Max. It tries to smooth panning motion. If there is something near the lenses FOV (field of view) like mic or roll servo, these may show on the right or left side of the frame when you are panning, even fairly slowly.
