It's a pretty solid update - lots if GUI changes with the MCR selected - thank f**k for that the gimbal is useable again
Not sure you'll need it - the filmic update pretty much has everything we've been asking for - split focus/exposure lock access to the various Movi modes high bitrates selectable lens on iPhones with dual lenses plus the other usual filmic stuff
I can see a few reasons to go back o the Movi app, movilapses, echomode, timelapses. I know some find them gimmicks, but I use them often, I would like to have it all in one, I do agree, for majestic....filmic pro has all the things I have aske for, object tracking would be nice...but not necessary.
Yes. you're right - the 'modes' are not there.. but still at least for 'pure' filming experiences it's getting there.
Has anyone tried Filmic pro with the beta firmware on the Movi? I haven’t had the opportunity to try it myself and if you already know it won’t work I would rather not waste my time.
Anyone has any problem with this Flimic Pro update? I found that it is often frozen or became really slow. My phone is iPhone X.
I have on occasional had the d-pad button be unresponsive in Filmic Pro. I had to go to Hardware setting in Filmic Pro and toggle "Freely Movi" on and off and then reconnect-reselect the Movi again. It has been a pretty solid update, although I wish it retained my preferences to have the trigger be freeze for example. It seems to revert to defaults when reconnecting to the Movi. No real complaints although I miss the lock to sleep function with the Freefly Movi app. (Lock the Movi, app goes to "sleep", then I lock the iPhone.)
