Hello agian, Sometimes, as soon as the power is turned on, Movi cinema robot keeps shaking. So I had to turn the power off and on again, and sometimes it keeps shaking. Sometimes, the battery needs to be replaced to stop the shaking. When I first started using Movi, Movi was constantly shaking. Today, it was shaking more than 5 minutes. Has anyone ever experienced such a problem? I wonder if there is a solution. Also, I wonder what is the cause.
How do you have the tuning set, YoungHoon? Andy Forensic Software & sUAV / Drone Analyst : Photographer : Videographer : Pilot (Portland, Oregon, USA): Trees=2, Ground=1, Props=11. Thanks....you might try Regular if you have not already. By the way is this a new problem? Have you been using the setup successfully before, or did this start happening right out of the box, so to speak? If you've been using the Movi before with this same setup and no problem then you need to open up a ticket with Freefly Support and the best way of doing that is to head over to https://freeflysystems.com/contact Andy Forensic Software & sUAV / Drone Analyst : Photographer : Videographer : Pilot (Portland, Oregon, USA): Trees=2, Ground=1, Props=11. Thank you for your advice. Maybe it's because I did not set the balance of Movi precisely.. Anyway, I've had this problem even when I have precisely balanced Movi. Next time I get this problem again, I'll take a video and show it to you.
Hi there, Mine is doing something similar. When I power it on it either swings to one side then the light turns blue. Or it jerks around a lot and keeps it up until I shut it down. I tested this with a iPhone XS Max and a iPhone 6. If I revert to the older firmware v.1.1.5 everything works as it should but then when I update the firmware to v1.2 everything goes haywire again. I’ve also uninstalled and reinstalled the app and have gone through the process of loading the old firmware and reinstalling the new firmware over 5 times each using the 6 and Xs Max. With no luck. I put a ticket in today for it. . If you read this thanks for listening, Jerry
Sometimes I still have the same problem. I solve it by turning the power off and on, or changing the shooting mode.
Thanks for the reply. I’ve tried everything and the only thing that works is reverting back to the old firmware version 1.1.5. I heard back from Freefly today and they asked me to send a video of what it was doing. So I did. They said the unit may need to be replaced. But I’m still in the thirty day return window with the vendor I bought it from so they sent me a RMA label to return it. And I will just buy a new one.
I hope your problem will be solved. Frankly, I think Movi's hardware or software is less complete. But I love Movi, and I'm watching the software improvements.
When I first started using MCR, it would do that. I learned a little more about the Tuning and Balancing. Plus there were a couple of software updates during this ( I purchased last summer). The only time I get crazy shakes is when I forget to adjust the Tuning when I change setups. The wild swings have stopped, BUT, I sometimes experience them if MCR is out and about and I can't always get it level when switching on. What I mean is, after walking around a lot, raising up and down, and going in and out of sleep mode, it seems like the MCR loses track of its orientation. It would calm down once I switched it off and turned it back on while on a level surface, then follow recommendation of letting it get acclimated to the environment for a couple of minutes. Or, you got a bum unit
