I'm trying to solve an upgrade issue I'm having and can't seem to find anything about it on the internet. So I'm shooting in the dark here. Here's my setup:

    Mikrokopter (6-Rotter) - FlightCtrl 2.1
    Graupner MX-20 with HOTT GR-16

I recently decided to do the firmware upgrade on the MX-20 as described on http://wiki.mikrokopter.de/en/MX-20#Sprung1

Everything went fine with the firmware upgrade. Copied all files to the mind-SD card. But when I went to select the new Voice files, I get an error message "Wrong Data Format". I've re-downloaded, tried changing the names of the file to match the previous file names, and ultimately, tried to re-install the previous Voice Files, all with no success. So now I'm stuck with no voice feedback.

Was wondering if anyone had experienced this before, and if so, how did you fix it. The MX-20 firmware is now at version 2.

I have a faint recall of a problem like that, Charles. I think with the Mikrokopter....you might be able to get an answer over at http://forum.mikrokopter.de/ -- they used to have a machine-translated version of the forum in English, but it doesn't seem to be running. You might try write your question in very simple English and then using Google translate to get the question into German.

That said, I did find this: http://wiki.mikrokopter.de/en/HottUpdate#Voice_file

    Hope that helps

HI Alan: I'm afraid the issue you're having is a little outside the scope of what we can do on this forum as it seems to be more a Microsoft Windows, Google Chrome, and possibly a Graupner issue.

I presume that you used Chrome to download the MX20 firmware and put it on a memory card to insert into the MX20, right?

If after doing that Chrome keeps crashing, I'd try resetting Chrome; See https://www.thewindowsclub.com/reset-chrome-settings

I wish I could bemore help.
