Just got a new iPhone X and wanted to use the Robot with it. When I opened the Movi App it brings up a screen asking for permission to use camera, mic and photos. I tap update permissions which brings me to another screen. My options there are to connect it with Siri only. Nothing about camera, mic and photos. I go to Cam, mic , photos in settings and there is nothing related to Movi. What am I missing with trying to use the app and permissions? Thanks
What is your other choice besides “update settings”? Mine was simply to tap ok, then iOS asks me if it can access the mic, camera and photos, one at a time. It works just fine with the iPhone X, that’s what I use.
+1 Also worked on first launch for myself and it also worked first time for my wife, which was pleasantly unusual. I'd delete the app and re-download. However, my wife did get her previous iPhone in a massive mess, by locking everything down at the iOS level. I never managed to completely undo all her "don't allow" responses, and she was never able to get any in-app purchases. My experience is that there are a lot of security settings lurking in unfathomable places in iOS.
Try deleting the app and reinstalling! There is an issue when iOS auto installs all the new apps when you transfer from a previous iPhone..
