My first thought, even though you shouldn't have to do this, is whether you need to re-bind the AR7000 to the transmitter. It's worth a try. Let us know if that solves the problem. That would be a trip back tot he local hobby shop. But I'll give it a try after the holidays. Would it become un-bound over time? Thanks, Andy.
Hmm. You shouldn't need to go back to the LHS, Steve -- unless you don't have a "bind plug" (a JR connector with pins 1 and 3 shorted together). The instructions are here (look for the heading bindings in the lower center of the first page): https://www.spektrumrc.com/ProdInfo/Files/SPMAR7000UserGuide.pdf Hope this helps Andy Forensic Software & sUAV / Drone Analyst : Photographer : Videographer : Pilot (Portland, Oregon, USA): Trees=2, Ground=1, Props=11. When you've got the AR7000 in bind mode, then power up the DX7s as described of the DX7s manual -- you can find the manual here: https://www.spektrumrc.com/ProdInfo/Files/SPM7800-Manual_EN.pdf Cheers Andy Forensic Software & sUAV / Drone Analyst : Photographer : Videographer : Pilot (Portland, Oregon, USA): Trees=2, Ground=1, Props=11. It's on page 7 of the manual --- sorry, I omitted to write that.
