Really beautiful shots (except for that Tr*mp building ). Did you shoot in LOG and apply any LUTS, or is everything captured with standard dynamic range (if using Filmic Pro, etc.)? Did you capture in 4K and down-convert to 1080p, etc.? Would love to see more of your work with the Movi gimbal, but would be great to have a 2nd unit camera on you filming to show your movement techniques, etc. Thanks for posting! EL
LOL!!! Thx you Edrolfo! Yes I shot this on Filmic Pro @ 24fps 4k - extreme bitrate, flat log profile. I did tweak a few things & added LUT in post (Fuji3513 - Rec709). Captured on Samsung S9 w/Moment anamorphic lens & variable ND filter. A few of these shots were actually handheld w/phone only (opening scene, water fountain w/face & bikes). Hmm, that would be an interesting video to work on, movement techniques. Not sure if you saw another vid I posted on another thread w/another clip I made w/Movi (same settings as above).
Thanks for the specs! Really cute video and nice lens flare, etc... I'm also considering Moment's anamorphic... always something more to buy. On your video, love the camera work, editing and well-chosen music. Great attempt to make an otherwise anxious-ridden and traumatic memory (like from my childhood) into a really positive one for her.
