As some have noticed... I'm a bit happy about using the Movi to tell stories. Been gearing my productions in the last few years to be able to "go light, shoot heavy". The iPhone X in 4K with a combination of the Movi is simply magical when it comes to acquiring a variety of shots during a live event. Additionally, I used a Sony wireless mic (lav & Sennheiser shotgun) for most of my audio. Still learning each day how to make my shots better and better with the Movi. North River Mills, WV is a ghost town 364 days a year. On one day it blossoms into a real community of former residents and families that lived there back to the early 1800's. Loved editing this over the last few days. Hope you enjoy.

Thanks Darrin. This one was fun to shoot & edit! The iPhone X is pretty amazing. Heading to another little town in the Shenandoah Valley in the next few weeks. Developing this concept series on Towns Not Forgotten.

Looking forward to the next one! I really loved the music and the feel of the video. The audio was always the most important when I worked professionally and I think you nailed it here.

    Thanks Michael,
All shot with my iPhone X using mostly Movi app. Used Mavis camera app to check initial sound inputs, etc. I would say 3/4 of the stills are single frame exports from video clips. I did use my DxO One camera for a few shots. Really started to get used to operating the Movi halfway through my 3 (Three) (Corection edit) hour shoot.

Amazing what can be done with "equipment in your pocket" isn't it. Great job, John - honestly. And impressed about the quality, from the iPhone X + MOVI, the crisp sound and extremely well done editing!!! GREAT RESPECT!!!
