Got a prompt on my phone about this and to update to it, not sure if its the same beta or not. Release notes says Bug Fixes.
This is an update to current v1.2 beta release. Here is whats new: Bugfix: Double tapping to stop recording fails to save video Bugfix: App doesn't open in some countries Bugfix: App crashes if right d-pad is double pressed Bugfix: White balance should switch to auto in basic mode Bugfix: Settings button on camera screen sometimes doesn't work
The previous beta was build 118, this is build 122, so it's a new version, Alessandro. Cool. I am on iOS 12 and can report some weird behavior, but I am not sure which to blame it on... Seems like if you don't have the exact res and fps selected it doesn't properly cycle through it.
Alessandro, I can't reproduce on iPhone X Movi App v1.2.0 (122) iOS 11.2.2 Let me know if you end up figuring it out.. Also please submit bugs, requests, feedback here https://goo.gl/forms/Luw7d9ribStt4wQR2 More likely to get attention by Freefly team.
the non beta app gives me a list to pick from, and if i pick 4k and 120 / 240 (not supported by iphone x) it just auto corrects back to 1080 for res.
Yes that is expected behavior. I thought you had an app crash. You pick your "preferred" resolution. Once that is selected, the right toolbar on camera screen will reflect "current" resolution based on your current fps and iPhone model. This way you can prefer to shoot at highest resolution when available, without app resetting your resolution setting back to 1080 every time you toggle through different fps options. yea, that is what im thinking. 1.2 beta is different than the reg movi app as that one gives you a list to pick from not just cycling through it.
I'm running 1.2.0 (122) beta and I checked in TestFlight that the beta expires in 7 days. Is there a new build coming?
Some test groups might have access to more builds. 118 is the current latest public beta. We will push a new one that includes everything 122 had next week.
The current beta expires this Friday at 00:16 and the next beta will be released next week? So there are a few days were we are not able to use the Movi (as going back to the public app means loosing the locked white balance and reframe feature). That's a bummer, I'm just glad the next Movi shooting I have is on Thursday afternoon, so just hours before the lockdown.
There is a new build 132 available that is same as 118. This way you can continue using the app while we are working on releasing an actual update for next week. For feedback, it is best to send it through the feedback form at www.gomovi.com/beta . We monitor it daily, whereas forum as time allows.
