Hi, i saw all your post and i want to try some of your configurations but in the wookong`s software i can't modified the gains, when i change it and push WRITE, they change to the previous (175,125,175,100 100,100)

I have the new firmware of wookong.

My multirotos is a Cinestar 8

    Thanks

    Hello Juan Pablo,
Turn on your Tx/Rx on and calibrate it as to get the manual/atti/gpsatti channel set.
    It should work.

Hi Andy, i also found that using the carbon fiber props helps with that.. Seems like they cut the air better than Xoar and for sure better than the apc.. (even though they are not my favorite props with the heavier cameras for some reason..they give me the smoothest footage.. :) i tried 2 different carbon props 14", they sends to be to 'delicate' if that makes scenes..

We are looking for an improvement in Michigan's gusty and unpredictable wind conditions.
Wind speeds here are consistently 10-15+ ( MPH ) every day.

    Philipp,
Are you very happy with those props ? I'm looking at Graupners 14x8 and the Xoar 14x7.
We have tied the X8 configuration, both in the default DJI and a Custom mixer... and didn't like the results so we are back to CS8 octo.
    What battery series (4s or 5s) ?

Anyone else have some thoughts ?

    Hey guys,
thought to share, this is my new build, 550 booms, 15" props (will try 14 and 16 as well), DJI (till the new FF boards will be available )
14 pounds with 2x6s (no camera) takes off at 25%-30% and fly like a zebra!!!

I will do some tests over the weekend with the FS700.. only thing is, the gains are 280,280,280, 110 (and still fine-tuning, almost perfect with ALT.. isnt it too much gain?? )

let me know what u think..
    Cheers!

*** BTW, i also tried the I2c -> PWM to use MK, it worked OK but not as i expected.. (i think these motors works best with 6s..) cant wait for the new boards to be available!

    Cheers!

With the DJI WKM you have to use 6S

Our rig has Castle Creations 75A ICE lite ESCs .
We have had great luck with the ESC program set to Medium startup, while keeping the WK-M Idle start at the box between LOW and RECOMMEND.

Our Gains are 220 220 220 120 and we just want to smooth it our a little more.
I'm hoping some new props will be the answer.

    All,
If you missed it, I made some PolyCarb mounting plates for the CS8 that allow for a Hungry Power systems distribution unit, as well as provide some dampening to the mounting plate. click the video link here .
Now the only real question is do we mount the GPS on this plate / or not. over 120 flights no issue, but she "came down" today for some reason. I will be getting some CarbonFiber sheets and cutting them soon as well. Let me know if your interested in a plate.

Ill be back home and will run some more tests ;)
