I see there are a lot of folks using the Sony A7 cameras and the MoVI / Alta. I am wondering how you start and stop recording. All of the wireless remotes that I have found for the Sony cameras have a range of somewhere near a hundred feet. Apparently, there is no way to start and stop recording using the Fiz/Mimic/MoVI Controller unless you have a Red. Somebody has to have figured this out. Please share...
Hey Rick we just use gentwire-multi181 https://www.quadrocopter.com/gentWIRE-MULTI-181_p_1433.html plugged into a spares channel on the rc receiver. works fine!
