I'm looking to mount a small shotgun mic onto the Movi Pro (something like this).

Does anyone have any suggestions or tried and trusted methods to do this?

    Any help/advice much appreciated.

Hey Andrew, finding a mic mount with a 1/4-20 thread on the bottom and then attaching that to one of the Freefly Pop-N-Locks has worked well for me. Here is essentially what I've been using:

    https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1311285-REG/azden_smh_x_shock_mount_with_integral_shoe.html

    https://store.freeflysystems.com/collections/movi-pro/products/pop-n-lock-15mm-quick-release

Let me know if you have any questions. You could use any Pop-N-Lock but might want to stick with the 15mm version if you can since that allows you to keep the mic cable contained to the gimbal and not strung up to something like the Pro Ring. Mounting it up higher does work too but just another cable to worry about.

    Pictures attached.

    Thanks Justin!

Do you like the type of mount used in your photos? I like that it is small and seemingly light weight. Does it pick up vibrations?
