been flying on descender and defy rigs with this gimbal recently. Any input on whether to auto tune on the ground where it is nice and solid versus on the cable rig itself? Can't tell much of a difference...
Henry: The general rule is to "tune it as you want to use it" -- if you tune it on the ground the MoVI Pro will experience different natural resonances. That said, sometimes you can ignore that rule and all appears to be ok, but it's simply better to tune in the same situation as you plan to use it. It seems to do better when I tune it on the stiffest mount possible, usually just on the ring, on the floor, with my foot on the feet. We are riding almost 15 lbs too fyi. I did auto again on the rig, just to see, and it started oscillating, yet I auto tuned again and then it was fine. strange
