Mimic drifting

    Has anyone found a way of getting rid of the Pan drifting when connected to mimic?

    Do you mean when it finds its position after the Mimic kicks in? Or do you mean a gradual drift?

    Hi Brett
    I have often wandered why the movi turns to an unknown position after the mimic kicks in!? No, but I meant the gradual drift once the mimic is activated. For a longer wide shot you always have to counter pan. And that can't be the perfect solution!!??

    Did you ever get an answer to this. I think it is a result of not calibrating the compass to North.
